Andres Clarens
Dr. Andres Clarens is an Assistant Professor at the University of Virginia’s Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. He teaches courses on energy and sustainability. Professor Clarens’ research interests include, design for environment, industrial ecology, carbon dioxide utilization and sequestration, and Life Cycle Assessment. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in Chemical Engineering, and completed his Masters and Doctorate degrees at the University of Michigan in 2004 and 2007 respectively.
