ASSOCIATE FACULTY
Because of the interdisciplinary nature of Global Sustainability, building a strong, comprehensive curriculum requires expertise in a variety of disciplines across the University of Virginia and beyond. These disciplines include faculty from engineering, commerce, public policy, environmental sciences, anthropology, religious studies, architecture, urban planning, and public health. Associate Faculty of the Global Sustainability Initiative contribute their knowledge and share their research with students in the Global Sustainability class, through their courses in the Minor of Global Sustainability, and by mentoring students through independent research and study abroad opportunities. The Global Sustainability Initiative also provides a channel for faculty members from across the university to collaborate.
