Student Comments

“The minor allowed me to take courses in areas that at first do not seem completely relevant to my interests, such as economics. As a result, it broadened my understanding of the issues and gave me more perspective.”

“I feel like this class made me re-evaluate my place in the world, especially in regards to sustainable practices. By exposing us to different aspects of sustainability from a global perspective, this course provided a thorough curriculum that was empowering…I feel committed to being far more engaged in making a difference.”

“The main reason I have decided to study and undertake Global Sustainability as a minor is because I feel I have a responsibility to the place I live –the world and it is something that I would like to pursue in my professional career.  After graduation, I plan to work and gain some real world experience of the architecture world and then attend grad school to study sustainable architectural design.”
